Terms and Conditions

Shipping Policy

We use third party shipping couriers to provide prompt delivery of our hatching eggs. We use Purolator and Canada Post depending on where you are located. 

We ship out on Mondays for orders that are located outside of Ontario and prefer Purolator for these orders. For deliveries within Ontario we ship Mondays and Tuesdays and can use Canada Post or Purolator. 

We hand pick all eggs and handle them with care, once they leave the homestead we are no longer responsible for the care and well being of the hatching eggs.

Returns and Exchanges

Due to the nature of hatching eggs all hatching eggs are final sale. Hatching eggs are a high risk purchase. We do not accept returns and we do not offer exchanges under any circumstance.

Refund Policy On Shipped Eggs

We do offer refunds on any cracked eggs that are found to be cracked upon arrival. We only ship our eggs in custom foam packaging to minimize shell fractures and cracks while in transit. If you received a cracked or fractured egg upon package arrival take photos of the damaged egg and contact us for resolution.

Policy On Picked Up Eggs

Hatching eggs that have been picked up will not be subject to a refund on cracked or damaged eggs. We hand pick and place them in your carton with care to ensure that they are not damaged while in our care. 

Once your hatching eggs are picked up they are no longer our responsibility. 

You are responsible for the safe handling of your hatching eggs. 

Day Old Chick Pickup

We do our best to set our hatches to fall on weekends for a more convenient pickup for our customers. We do encourage that all chicks hatched here on the homestead be picked up within a 24 hour period after hatching. Additional charges will occur as the chicks will need to be cared for while still in our care. 

If you are unable to make a pickup please let us know ahead of time so that we can plan accordingly with you on an alternate pickup date.
